Haryana Cabinet, which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal here today, approved the amendment in the Haryana Development and Regulation of Urban Areas Rules, 1976.

  • Chandigarh, Feb 13 – Haryana Cabinet, which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal here today, approved the amendment in the Haryana Development and Regulation of Urban Areas Rules, 1976. 
  • As per the amendment, the rate of extension fee per acre for allowing further time period for construction of community sites will be Rs 10 lakh in the hyper area forming part of the development plan of Gurugram-Manesar Urban Complex, Rs nine lakh in high-I areas forming part of development plan of Faridabad-Ballabhgarh Urban Complex, part of Sohna Development Plan falling in Gurugram district, areas forming part of development plan of Gwal Pahari and Rs seven lakh in the high-II Periphery Controlled Areas of Panchkula, Sonipat-Kundli Urban Area Complex and Panipat.
  • For medium areas, the rate of extension fee per acre for construction of community sites will be Rs six lakh, for low-I areas Rs five lakh and for low-II areas Rs four lakh.
  • The time period for renewal of licence has been extended from existing two years to five years. Therefore, the licence renewal fee has been increased from existing ten per cent to 20 per cent of licence fee for licences wherein part completion certificate is yet to be granted and from 2.5 per cent to five per cent of licence fee for licence wherein part completion stands granted.
